Matt Matt

Matt

With over 25 years’ experience at the highest levels of the creative industry, Matt has been leading successful teams in SE Asia for as long as he can remember. He started as a runner in London in 1992 before moving in to colour and moving out of the UK, spending 17 years as a top level colourist in Asia working on award winning TVCs, documentaries, and feature films including Sylvester Stallone’s Rambo IV (tip: don’t bother). He finally put his joyballs away and retired from the grading suite in 2010 to set up his own post production house in Bangkok - Spice Shop - which was SE Asia’s first fully digital, non-linear facility.

Most recently Matt was the founder and Managing Director of the Thailand office - and APAC hub - of global post production and visual effects house Smoke & Mirrors, also acting as Managing Director of Tag Worldwide Thailand.

During his extensive time in Thailand Matt has built many award winning post production and visual effects teams and has a worldwide network of talent he can call on to manage projects of any complexity or scale. Matt has an incredible passion for craft and is trusted by clients throughout SE Asia, the Middle East and Europe to deliver the highest quality content, on time and on budget.

Claim to fame: he once challenged will.i.am to a dance off. He lost, obviously.

Proudest achievement: throwing a watermelon over a cliff. Sorry kids, but that was ace.
