Our Ethos

OUR ETHOS!

We’ve all been there: we’ve felt burnt out, we’ve perhaps worked in large corporations where your day is swamped with internal meetings that could mostly be covered in an email. We’ve all suffered from admin overload (ugh!). We’ve worked in global organisations where staff are treated differently in different countries - how is that fair? And we’ve all worked in offices with cliques and politics.

At Finally! we want to take all the inefficiencies and negatives we’ve seen in our careers, screw them up and toss them away. We are genuinely inclusive, our policies are for all staff to receive the same status and benefits no matter where they are located. Everyone who works here is offered the chance to invest in the company for their long term gain. Our other points of difference:

  • After five years of service EVERYBODY is eligible for a paid three month sabbatical because it is important to recharge and reset - the world will not end if you go away with family and completely switch off for a few weeks. In fact the world - your world - will be better when you come back.
  • In London we work with Centre Point to make sure homeless people are given the opportunity to work and get back on their feet. Finally! will provide employment and full training.
  • In Thailand we donate a percentage of our profits to Father Joe Maier’s Mercy Centre, one of Thailand’s oldest and most respected charities, building schools and helping orphans, the homeless and underprivileged get an education and a chance in life. We benefit from having a VFX team in Thailand so why wouldn’t we give something back for that privilege?

Ultimately, we want working at Finally! to feel like hanging out with your mates. For us it’s not about making as much money as we can, it is about focusing on brilliant creative but also giving back to the industry that nurtured us all back in the day, hopefully making the next generation fall in love with it in the same way we did. Most importantly we are giving back to the societies and communities we are located in.

Finally! We want to be different.

Yours,

Matt, Donna & Gary.
