COST

On average its 20% cheaper to shoot in Thailand than any other major South East Asian country. And up to 50% cheaper than Europe, South Africa or Australia.

That said, there’s no point being cheaper if the quality suffers, and thats another drawcard in favour of Thailand.

CREW & EQUIPMENT

Hollywood has been coming to Thailand since the 60’s, meaning that film crew and equipment have long conformed to global industry best standards.

Crews are fast and efficient with the bonus of speaking English.

Equipment is new and well maintained.

LOCATIONS

Thailand has a very diverse range of filming locations beyond the expected beaches, temples, tuk tuks and street life. On camera, it can present as a modern global city, a European suburb, a Mediterranean coastal road, an Italian mountain village or a desert in Arizona. Thailand answers most location briefs, and if it can’t, there’s always a little help available from our VFX team!

CASTING

Thailand being right in the middle of South East Asia has meant the population is a central mix of “looks” that can pass for anywhere in Asia. Further, as an international filming destination, Bangkok has long been on the map for working actors and models from across the globe, especially those with a “latin” look which can pass for airing in most countries.

DIRECTORS

We work with great directors with a broad range of specialties and skills, from tabletop and food, to comedy, babies and VFX. Many are based right here in Bangkok but we also have a unique global roster so can cover most requests or requirements.
